Tony joined PEI as its first CTIO in July 2016. He came on board following a five-year spell at Euromoney Institutional Investor, where he managed the technology portfolio and guided their digital transformation programme. With nearly 20 years’ experience in digital media, and stints at multi-channel publishers Emap and Bauer Media, Tony is a key addition to the PEI management team.

Jonathan joined PEI in 2010, bringing with him 17 years’ agency and clientside marketing experience from a diverse array of industries and businesses including Telstra, News International, ChildLine and Kaplan. He is a graduate of the University of New South Wales and has a professional diploma from the Institute of Direct Marketing (UK).

Iris joined PEI in 2012 as Logistics Manager, and is responsible for all the logistic details of conferences and training courses in Asia. Iris began her career in event management with Haymarket Media in Hong Kong, where she worked on financial conferences, award shows and multi-day festivals across the APAC region. In addition to her native Cantonese, Iris also speaks fluent English and Mandarin.

And as we grow the conference portfolio across the Asian markets, so my job is to deal with the challenges in organization and support for both my colleagues and our clients for all our events."

Seth joined in May 2016. Prior to PEI, he was the managing director of the American Conference Institute where he ran a $20 million conference business. He has over 20 years of experience in managing content and events with prior roles at the Economist, Access Intelligence, Reputation Institute and IQPC where he produced events in more than 25 countries. He holds a Master’s degree in Marketing Communications from Emerson College.

Dan joined PEI in 2010 to lead and develop the company’s research and analytics services for the private equity, private real estate, private debt and infrastructure markets. A graduate of the University of Bristol, he previously worked at EMAP as Operations Director of its political information and data service.

Amanda joined PEI’s New York office as a journalist in 2007, having previously worked as the business editor for a daily newspaper in the San Francisco Bay Area. She relocated to PEI’s London office in 2008, became Director of PEI’s specialist networks division in 2013, was appointed Group Managing Editor in 2015 and Director of Digital Product Development in 2017. Amanda has an MA in international journalism from City University of London and bachelor’s degrees in English literature and Italian studies from Saint Mary’s College of California.

Lawrence joined PEI in December 2017 and is responsible for leading the event sponsorship team in the Americas. An industry speaker on how to maximize involvement in face-to-face events, Lawrence’s experience provides a unique way to engage audiences in a live setting. He holds an MBA in Marketing from Fordham University, and a BS in Management & Organizational Behavior from The Pennsylvania State University.

Helen joined PEI in 2014 as a conference producer and in 2017 became the Director of Events for the Asia region. Helen oversees the team who create over 14 events per year across Private Equity, Infrastructure, Private Real Estate and Private Debt in Hong Kong, Korea, Japan, Australia, Singapore and China.
A graduate in Law and Business, Helen has worked in events for all of her professional career including alongside publications such as The Economist and Financial Times.

Craig joined PEI in July 2017. He graduated from St. John’s University in 2005 with a Master of Arts Degree in History. He has over ten years of research experience, having previously worked at ALM Media where he managed a portfolio of surveys and products that informed the legal industry.

Arshiya first joined PERE’s Asia team in Hong Kong and is now based in New York. Her stories on business and political news in the region have been published on Quartz, CNN and Lloyd’s List. Before moving to Hong Kong, Arshiya was a business correspondent covering consumer companies and advertising for a New Delhi-based trade publication. She holds a master’s degree in journalism from The University of Hong Kong.

Nicholas joined PEI in 2006 to edit PrivateEquityInternational.com. In September 2008 he moved over to run the EMEA conference business. Nicholas has an MA Hons in German from the University of Edinburgh and after a brief stint in advertising, joined Financial News as a journalist in 2000, covering the private equity industry.

Meera joined PEI in 2018 after being part of a team that successfully listed an owner -managed business on AIM. Meera brings with her listed company reporting and governance together with being a Fellow of Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Minnie joined PEI Hong Kong Office in May 2017 as a member of the subscription sales team. She is now responsible for leading the continuous growth of the subscription client base across the Asia-Pacific region. A long-term resident in Hong Kong, Minnie speaks fluent English, Cantonese, Mandarin, and conversational Japanese.

Judy has worked in HR for over 20 years, most of it within the financial services industry. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. Previous roles include time at Credit Suisse, as well as Head of Human Resources at Flood Re Limited, Lloyds Syndicate 998 and Aspen Insurance.

Isobel joined PEI in 2014 and became editor of Private Equity International in January 2017. She oversees the editorial content of the monthly magazine and contributes news and analysis for PrivateEquityInternational.com. Isobel graduated with honours from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism, and holds a Master’s degree in Comparative Literature from Dartmouth College and a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Russian from the University of Leeds.

Chris re-joined PEI after the merger of PEI and Buyouts Insider in April 2019. He is private equity editor for Buyouts and PE HUB, in which role he oversees editorial content across the platforms. Despite the editor title, Chris loves digging in and reporting on the industry as well. Chris worked at PEI from 2008 to 2013, before moving on to run the PE HUB Wire for Reuters at the time. He’s worked in various reporter roles over the years, and started his career at community newspapers outside of Philadelphia.
